We believe that there is power in the preaching and teaching of God's Word. As we gain understanding and insight into the Counsel of God through the word, members are enabled and freed to be the best person that God intended. We adhere of God's Word and share the standards, so that members can apply the word in all areas of their lives both collectively and individually.

We believe that worship and prayer are not church confined activities but that they are a lifestyle. As a church and individuals we develop and maintain a relationship with God. This means that we must spend time in God's presence, speaking to God and listening for His counsel. As this relationship develops we become more like Christ in all that we do and therefore promote His Kingdom on earth.

ACTS, a place to belong means just that. We have an open door policy and everyone is welcome. Background, race, age or genders are not considered when you walk through our doors. Everyone can expect to meet with the love of Christ. Whilst we accept everyone with open arms likewise all are expected to treat each other with love, dignity and respect whether it is the first time attendee or the long time member.

As members of ACTS we are people of our word being grounded in the word of God. In all our activities we are ambassadors of Christ. We speak respectfully and truthfully with each other. We pray and intercede fro each other with one accord.

We value the development of individuals as leaders and ministers to enable others. Members are encouraged to develop their own areas of interest within the word and support is given to achieve this end. All members are developed within ACTS to be the person that God created them to be. Too many people are stunted by life's circumstances and have areas of creativity that have been hidden in their lives as a result. By encouraging, teaching and counselling members' collectively and individually using Gods word and Spirit these skills are unlocked for use in their lives, the family and the community.

ACTS believes that a family with Christ as its foundation is stable and happy one that impacts on others, the community and ultimately the nation. To this end families are encouraged to witness to each other and ministries are developed in the church to engender this environment.

According to the direction of God's Word, we are cheerful and liberal givers not only financially but also in terms of time, support and love to the church, each other and the community.
