ACTS (Adapted Curriculum Training and Support) Scotland CiC provides opportunities for a broad base of learners (16 - 25), including but not limited to, young people who are disengaged at school, not in training or further education, the unemployed, those living with a disability (parent and child), those from disadvantaged communities, care experienced, lone parents, minority ethnic parents or young person, families with a young mother under 25, parents with a child under the age of one to obtain recognised certifications. 

Gaining  certification can lead to securing and staying in employment, enhancing mental well-being through increased self-esteem, and being motivated for a positive future. 

Skills for Success – 8 Week Employability Development Programme

 Duration & Structure
• 8 Weeks
• 4 Days per Week
• 5 Hours per Day
• Approx. 160 Guided Learning Hours
• Target Group: Young People Aged 16–25

Purpose
Skills for Success is a structured employability intervention designed to:
• Reduce barriers to employment
• Build confidence and resilience
• Develop work-ready skills
• Provide accredited learning
• Support progression into sustainable employment, education, apprenticeships or volunteering

The programme aligns with Scotland’s No One Left Behind (NOLB) framework through:
• Person-centred delivery
• Holistic barrier identification
• Integrated partner engagement
• Local labour market responsiveness
• Sustained destination tracking (13 & 26 weeks)
